“ Omg, what friendly people!!! And superb burgers !!! We had a little wait for a table for 2. Worth the wait !!! The sides were spectacular-- try the Brussels for a tasty opening. And the server met our challenge to make a Mocktail margarita !!! Dayum good, girl !! The Mexican carniceria next door is amazing too! ”
“ My boyfriend mentioned Gastro grind burgers as a popular spot that Guy Fieri has gone to. As a lover of food reviewers and reviewing I was so excited to try some dishes from here. This place is a bit pricey but SO worth it. The portions are HUGE, our waiter even warned us about getting two appetizers but we wanted to try a little of everything. I got the surf and turf hamburger which has lobster in it. I think this burger was so delicious the Brie cheese pairs really well with the lobster and burger overall. The drunken tots were amazing they definitely get a 10/10. The tots were very crispy and the toppings were delicious. Finally my absolute favorites were the duck wings I would go back just for the duck wings they were so crispy and flavorful! This place is very casual and it seems like a nice place to meet friends or catch a game. ”

“ There were six of us on a Saturday night looking for someplace to eat. We found Gastro Grind Burgers and reserved a table for six with Mike. We arrive at the the restaurant and are quickly seated at our table. Mike ended up being our waiter as well. We ordered an assortment of beers. Most of us ordered one of the burgers while I ordered the Steak Frites. Everyone said that their burgers were delicious and perfectly prepared as ordered. My steak was also delicious with a nice Demi glacé and compound butter atop crispy French fries. My partner had the Smokey Burger and he said it was the best burger he had in a long time. My only complaint is that I wasn't able to order a small dinner salad to go with my steak. If you're looking for a burger in Palm Desert definitely give this place a try! ”
“ I was excited to come here with my friend before a concert at the McCallum Theater. Looking at the menu ahead of time, I knew I wanted a Bistro Burger with Cajun Fries. It didn't feel busy, but the few wait staff working seemed at overcapacity. At least there was plenty of parking in this strip mall. The burger itself was okay. It looked flavorful and juicy, and it was filling, but I wasn't what I expected. Just super greasy. The fries were amazing of course. Kinda hard to mess up Cajun seasoning. If I had to come here again, I'd try a different burger because I'm still convinced this place should be good! ”

“ Incredibly attentive customer service and delicious burgers! We came on a Thursday night and we able to get seated right away. The ambiance at Gastro Grind is very dive-bar feely and the indoor space feels to be on the smaller side, but what I really appreciated was the amazing and friendly service. Our server checked in on us often, wiped down our table mid-meal, and offered nice conversation and helpful tips to us as we were checking out the restaurant being from out of town. As for the food, we started with their "Crispy Brussels" ($14.50) which was solid and I also got their "Bistro Burger" ($23.50) which includes a side of fries. The burger was on the smaller end but every bite was delicious! The portion size of the fries was also small but the fries were crispy and good. I also got an order of their "Panzanella" salad ($18) but I probably would pass on this next time as the salad felt a bit lacking in terms of toppings and not worth the $18 price tag. For dessert, we ended our meal with their "bread pudding" ($13) which was a sweet and delicious way to finish up our night. The bread pudding was chocolatey and warm and paired perfectly with the scoop of vanilla ice cream atop it. ”

With wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, goat cheese, and truffle aioli on a Brioche Bun, this burger takes the cake. Approved by Guy Fieri himself, this restaurant is well deserving of its feature on Diners, Drive-ins & dives. Not only was the food a knock out, my server was awesome and knowledgeable about the menu. The inside diner vibes were right on, too. I'm already thinking about going back to try their burger topped with lobster meat! The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is because for some reason my server put no pickle on my order and a dill pickle spear would have been the perfect companion to my burger. I love pickles. ”
